Strategy and Success

1) I like the relaxed atmosphere of the class and that we are able to have open disscussions during class.
2) I'm not really dissapointed in anything, but if I had to say something it would probably be having vocab on wednesdays just because I am used to having it on fridays
3) Usually for vocab, I study for about a half hour with flash cards and a partner
4) I'm a visual learner, I usually remember things better if I see them.

When Lexi is studying she usually splits it up into sections and studies one section at a time. On average she probably studies for 1-2 hours for big tests and always has me quiz her. But, she usually studies with either her ipod in her ear or the TV on. I think she would probably get a lot more accomplished, faster, if she stayed in a quiet place where nothing could distract her.

Splitting up the work is a wonderful strategy! The ipod... depends on her learning style and if the music has words. Sometimes classical/instrumental music actually stimulates the brain. Thanks for responding, Angela!!
