Camelot

In this movie, I appreciated that they stuck close to the original story line and I also thought the movie was very well done for being made in the 60's. Overall, the story line was easy to follow and I never got confused. The archetypes or things that make it universally appealing were maiden (Guenevere) wise old man (King Pellenor) and shadow (Lancelot). The movie has a Christian significance because Lancelot can be thought of as a "Satan" symbol. He is thought of to be nice in the beginning just as Satan can decieve us.
